CheckFitment is a free reference and calculator site. Using it means you accept these terms.

The service

The site answers whether a wheel and tire will fit a vehicle: bolt pattern, offset, backspacing, center bore, lug torque, spacers, tire size effects and gear ratios, with vehicle specifications taken from manufacturer documents. It is free, needs no account, and may change or be taken offline at any time.

Verify before you buy or fit

Wheel fitment affects safety. Specifications are provided for reference only, "as is", without warranty. Each vehicle specification is marked verified (backed by at least two primary manufacturer sources) or shown openly as an unverified candidate; either can still be wrong or differ for your trim, option package or market. Confirm every figure against your own vehicle's documentation and door-jamb placard, torque to the manufacturer's figure for the wheels actually on the vehicle, and have fitment checked by a qualified shop before you drive.

The AI assistant apps

The CheckFitment app in ChatGPT, the CheckFitment connector for Claude and the same MCP server in other AI assistants look up vehicle specifications in our dataset and calculate wheel and tire fitment, spacers, tire size differences and gear ratios from the numbers you give them. When a vehicle is not in the dataset, they say so and do not guess. Results are estimates for planning, not an engineering approval, a safety inspection or a recommendation to buy; the checks under "Verify before you buy or fit" apply in full. They are free, show no prices and sell nothing. The same applies to the CheckFitment add-on for Google Sheets, which only writes the results you ask for into the cell you have selected.

Trademarks

Vehicle makes and model names are used only to identify vehicles and belong to their owners. CheckFitment is independent and not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any vehicle, wheel or tire manufacturer.

Liability

We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information from this site or the app. This does not apply where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, such as for intent or gross negligence, or for injury to life, body or health.
