Audi Q5 — Bolt Pattern & Wheel Fitment

THESE ARE WHEEL BOLTS, NOT STUDS AND NUTS. M14x1.5 bolts thread directly into the hub, so there is nothing to hang the wheel on. Audi's own procedure (manual module "Removing and installing a wheel", read verbatim): remove the TOP bolt first, screw the alignment pin from the vehicle tool kit into that hole by hand, then remove the rest; on reassembly slide the wheel over the pin, start the bolts gently, remove the pin last. The manual also warns: "Never use the hex socket in the screwdriver handle or the hex socket wrench with the ratchet to loosen or tighten the wheel bolts... you will not be able to achieve the correct tightening specification." TORQUE 100 lb-ft - DO NOT 'CORRECT' IT UPWARD TO 103. Audi states "100 ft lbs (140 Nm)". A literal conversion of 140 Nm is 103 lb-ft and third-party torque aggregators often publish that; Audi's own figure is 100. I read this sentence myself in FOUR separate Audi manuals: 80A012721BF (MY2018), 80B012721BB (MY2021), 80B012721BJ (MY2024) and 80B012721BL (MY2025 carryover FY). The 2018/2021 wording is "The wheel bolt tightening specification must be 100 ft lbs (140 Nm)"; the 2024/2025 wording is "The wheel bolts must be tightened to 100 ft lbs (140 Nm)". Identical number throughout. NO SEPARATE STEEL/SPARE TORQUE EXISTS. lugTorqueSteel is intentionally absent, not missing. The manual's "Wheel bolts and rims" module points the reader to "Finishing" for the one and only tightening specification, and the "Collapsible spare tire" module (the US emergency wheel is a folding spare on a steel rim) gives speed and pressure restrictions - "Do not drive faster than 50 mph (80 km/h)" - but no alternate torque. One figure covers every wheel. CENTER BORE IS NOT OEM-SOURCED - THE ONE VALUE TO TREAT AS UNCONFIRMED. 66.5 mm is aftermarket consensus only (some vendors quote 66.6). I opened eleven AUDI AG wheel/rim product pages and none carries a "Mittenlochbohrung" field; the manuals give no hub bore either. It played no part in verified:true, which rests on boltPattern + lugTorque. OFFSET IS AN OEM-PUBLISHED RANGE, WITH ONE TRAP. ET34-ET39 is the span across Audi's own normally-fitted Q5 wheels (ET34 on 7,0Jx17, 7,0Jx19 and 8,5Jx21; ET39 on 8,0Jx19 and 8,0Jx20). Audi additionally catalogues an 8,5Jx21 at ET31 (p/n 80A071491), which its own page restricts to cars with wheel-arch extensions (flaps) or the Audi style package - so ET31 is deliberately EXCLUDED from the stated range and must not be treated as a bolt-on offset. Audi publishes ET per wheel part number, never per trim, so do not present a single factory offset. 18-INCH GAP NOW CLOSED. The 18-inch rim is Audi p/n 80A071498, 8.0Jx18, 5x112, ET39, for tire 235/60 R18 103H — confirmed by four independent AUDI AG documents across three markets (Spanish/Norwegian accessory-catalogue pages plus Audi UK and Audi Germany price lists), and excluded from SQ5 ("Excepto para: SQ5"; its carCompatibilities list omits every SQ5 entry). It was missed on the first pass because the German audi-shop.com storefront's listing for this one part 404s — the ES/NO storefronts of the same catalogue serve it. OFFSET CAVEAT: ET39 is stated by Audi only for the accessory rim 80A071498, not in any Audi document for the line-fitted 18-inch wheels (80A601025xx) — Audi's price lists print width but never ET. Listed for completeness only; do not offer it to a US Q5 or any SQ5. GENERATION-ADJACENT WARNING - MY2025 IS A SPLIT YEAR. I verified this directly: Audi's manual index returns BOTH 80B012721BL (modell-bez "2025 Q5", typen-bez "FY") and 8MA012721BC (modell-bez "2025 Q5", typen-bez "GU") - two different Audi type codes for the same model year.
