The thread column is the lug nut (or wheel bolt) size. Metric sizes read diameter × pitch: M14x1.5 is a 14 mm stud with 1.5 mm from one thread to the next. Inch sizes read diameter – threads per inch: 9/16-18 is a 9/16-inch stud with 18 threads per inch. Replacement nuts must match both numbers.

What is the lug nut torque for my vehicle?

It depends on the vehicle, the generation and sometimes the wheel. Pick your make, model and year in the lookup above, or find your generation in the chart. 34 of 182 rows are verified against two manufacturer documents; the Status column marks the rest as candidates. The figure in your owner's manual always wins.

Do steel and aluminum wheels use the same lug nut torque?

Not always. 7 generations in our chart carry two manufacturer figures by wheel type (aluminum vs steel, or road wheel vs spare). On a verified row: the Toyota Tundra 2022–2024 takes 97 lb-ft on aluminum wheels and 154 lb-ft on steel wheels, a 59% difference. Where your manual lists two figures, match the one for the wheel you are fitting, including a steel spare.

Do aftermarket wheels use the same torque as factory wheels?

Not necessarily. An aftermarket wheel may specify a different torque or a different nut seat (cone, ball or mag). The wheel maker's spec wins over the vehicle's, and the nut seat must match the wheel.

How do I convert lb-ft to N·m?
